Everything You Should Know About Common Management Admissions Test (CMAT) Entrance Exam
The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the Common Management Admissions Test (CMAT) for management admissions in all AICTE-approved schools and universities across the nation. The CMAT exam is administered annually, and students must pass it to gain admission to top PGDM colleges in Odisha and other AICTE-approved schools and universities across the country.
Ministry
of HRD, Government of India established the National Testing Agency (NTA). The
Government of India founded the NTA as a leading, specialist, autonomous, and
self-sufficient testing agency to administer various entrance exams for
admission/fellowship into higher education institutions. The NTA is the only
organisation that administers CMAT entrance tests nationwide.
The
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Entrance Exam for all
management programmes in the nation. This Test enables AICTE-affiliated, participating
institutions to identify qualified candidates for admission to their preferred
PGDM colleges in Odisha and otfher management programmes.
National
Testing Agency (NTA) will administer CMAT-2022 as a three-hour entrance exam in
Computer Based Test (CBT) mode to evaluate candidates' abilities in various
segments, including Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language
Comprehension, and General Awareness, for admission to Management Courses
annually. The CMAT-2022 Participating Institutes are the Institutions that will
accept CMAT Scores for MBA course admissions. Aspiring candidates must take the
CMAT exam online at one of the recognised testing locations across the country.
Applicants
to the CMAT exam must have earned a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a
minimum of 50 percent overall grades from a recognised university. Candidates
in their final year of a bachelor's degree programme may also apply for the
CMAT exam. The minimum age requirement to apply for the CMAT examination is 21
years.
The
CMAT is an online computer-based examination. The CMAT test will consist of 100
multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into five sections:
- Data Interpretation
- General Awareness
- Quantitative Techniques
- Rational Thinking
- English Language Capacity
The
CMAT exam is administered in an online computer-based method, and candidates
must take the exam at their allotted examination centres, as indicated on their
admission cards.
The
CMAT examination consists of 100 questions organised into five sections.
- The total allocated time for the examination is three hours.
- The examination is a computer-based online test to be administered at the approved exam centres.
- The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions, and students must choose the proper response from four options.

the admit cards are available, students must log in to the official website
with their unique username and password to obtain their admit cards. On the day
of the examination, students must bring a printed copy of their admit card to
the exam centres specified on the admit card.
